in nonfiction, illustrations, examinations, artwork, reviews, pretty
much everything.
Please pitch your idea to me, or send an excerpt of the writing or
a low resolution jpeg of the image(s) (or link to the full text/image
online).
With articles, I'm looking for things that are less than 5000 words,
although that could change on a case-by-case basis.
If you're stuck for ideas, I've got a whole list of them you can pick
from. Let me know what your specialty of interest is. Also, I've got
articles coming in that will need illustrations (drawn or photo),
if you'd rather attack that angle.
With submissions, please be sure to include:

Credit information with correct spelling and how you name
should appear; if it is artwork, medium information as well.

Full contact information, including snail address, website.
*
Author or artist bio. Two to three sentences, please.
* If the work was originally published elsewhere and you would like
that noted.
Decease is a print 'zine, and at this point is unable to pay for submissions.
Writers and artists retain full rights and copyright to their own
work. At this point there is no online version, so I'm not interested
online usage. All submitters will of course receive copies of the
'zine.
Deadline is the beginning of September, unless other arrangements
have been discussed.
